About five years ago, Limit Lash by Ella approached us to create an online store for their new e-commerce business in the lash industry. At the time, they didn’t need a full-scale e-commerce suite—just a simple online store to get started. We helped them launch their WordPress site with the free WooCommerce plugin, allowing them to begin selling their products online. The site ran seamlessly with no downtime, providing a solid foundation for their business.
Around 12 months later, Limit Lash wanted to take the next step in their e-commerce journey. We migrated everything over to the Shopify platform, offering them a more robust solution to scale. During this transition, they also wanted to integrate “Pay in 3” options from Klarna and Clearpay, which we helped set up to give their customers more flexible payment choices.
To this day, we continue to support Limit Lash, helping them manage the shop—whether it’s handling refunds, adding new products, or updating descriptions. We ensure their website runs smoothly and is fully operational, so their customers can confidently place orders, day or night.
I have been working with Lawrence who owns Webconnect Media for roughly 3 years now and he’s brilliant at what he does. He launched my very first site for me which was brill in 2020. I outgrew the platform we had it on and he moved everything over to Shopify for me in 2021. He’s incorporated klarna, clearpay etc onto it which all works perfectly. Lawrence is always there with a quick response when I’m not sure what to do or if I need things changing which is great when you’re running a business. Inspire Learning Centre, located in Ramsbottom, approached us to update their old Flash-based website. The transition to HTML5 was necessary, as Flash is no longer supported by most modern browsers, presenting security risks and accessibility issues. HTML5 ensures the site is secure, functional, and accessible across all devices.
In addition to the conversion, we enhanced the website by introducing an application form that submits directly to the centre. Previously, applicants had to download a Word document, fill it out, and email it back. The new form simplifies the application process, making it easier for prospective students to apply and for the centre to manage incoming applications. This update also aligns with our ongoing IT services for Inspire Learning Centre, keeping their digital presence current and streamlined.
